Interpersonal is a combination of 2 words, Inter + Personal. As the name suggests, the intelligence is all about the enhancement of children’s ability to interact with others, create relationship and to see situations from different perspective. It involves effective communication: verbal and nonverbal both, the ability to note distinctions among others & valuing them, sensitivity to the moods and temperaments of others, and the ability to entertain multiple perspectives.
Characteristics of people with Interpersonal Intelligence:
Can communicate well verbally.
Are skilled at nonverbal communication.
See situations from different perspectives.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with others.
Resolve conflicts in group settings.

Nature of the Child plays the vital role
The kids are blissfully self-centered and they see the entire world according to them only. Being developmentally incapable of understanding other’s perspective. The main reason for which developing Interpersonal intelligences becomes more important. Otherwise the child would grown into a stubborn child. They already have a concrete and literal thinking capacity, not focusing on Interpersonal development would worsen the situation. Though our tiny learners are really young to think figuratively, but are enthusiastic learners. So, we at Golden Bells Early Years works with the children to develop the Intrapersonal Intelligence among them. This way the learn to exhibit care & concern for themselves as well as to others.
How is it helpful
Kids’ inquisitive nature engages them into the interactions with the family and the people around them. Hence it shapes their personality and way of thinking. Though by nature the kids pretend self-dependence, displays self-control. Still the correct guidance towards the development of any of the intelligences is required to ensure the holistic development of a child.
How do we do it
Interpersonal Activities help the kids in learning to work well cooperatively and thrive on building friendships. As a preschool, we organize numerous activities to develop Interpersonal Intelligence among our kids.
“Kids learn better in Groups”.
Here, we intend to do that at the best for which we do many activities with the kids such as working in groups, Role playing activities, Rhyme Recitation, Stage Presentation, celebrations, events & much more. Witnessing the kids learning with their peer group through these activities is a pleasant to eyes.
Unlike Alexithymiacs, the kids with Interpersonal Intelligences are capable to recognize other’s emotions. They acquire all the characteristics of a human being who is empathetic enough to understand others’ perspective and their emotions too.
Culmination of the Efforts
The development of all Intelligences is important. As Golden Bells Early Years, Pitampura is India’s first Multiple Intelligences based Preschool in Delhi, it has already been entitled to be the most unique preschool in Delhi. Even many of the parents found it to be the Best Pre Nursery School in Pitampura. We are elated & thanks all members of Golden Bells family for that.
